After listening to the word of God from childhood till now, it may seem that the rapture is an event we only imagine but which will never occur. – For after we heard the first message on rapture, we felt sorry for our sins, repented of them and decided not to go back to them. We had fed our hearts with patience waiting for the one to come (Savior of the World), yet it appears that our hope is an apparent mirage.
Nevertheless, Jesus said in Matthew 24:35; “Heaven and earth must pass away but my words shall not pass away.” Jesus was assuring His disciples that every Single word He said must come to pass including the rapture.
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound and the dead in Christ shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed.” (1cor. 15:52) – that’s a solid promise in God’s holy word that the long awaited SUDDEN FLIGHT must still happen one day.
If only you can ponder on the things happening around the world today, you will notice that they are immoral, disgusting and unbecoming. These are the signs Jesus foretold to His disciples that must occur before the rapture.
Dear believer, don’t be discouraged, but hold on, continue in watchfulness. Remember; continuity infers persistence which means; refusing to give up or let go what you have or do.
Apostle Paul told the Colossian brethren, “Continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven.” (Col. 1:23).
So never give up on what you have (Salvation), never give up on what you are doing (Soul Winning), and never give up on the soon coming One(the Savior) as we shall reap in due season if we faint not.
