You might be sitting down even right now, reading this with the last bit of strength in you. You have prayed, fasted, strengthened your faith in God’s word, yet that situation has remained the same. Many times you have wondered why the situation has remained the same. Your request? ‘It is legitimate you say,’ something God would actually want me to have. You are sore tempted to throw in the towel, the devil might even be whispering in your ears “curse God and die.” But like the Psalmist, in times of difficulties, you must keep hoping on God and trusting in His word. Psalms 119:92 Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. 93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me. Praise is one of the power weapons in times of challenges. Never lose your praise to God at anytime. Psalms 71:14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.
Beloved, God has not forgotten you. Isaiah 49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. 16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. God is a father that loves His children dearly and allows some things come their way to mould them into being the best in that particular purpose/purposes He has created them for, to build up their faith sometimes, to strengthen their faith that in Him at other times. 1 Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: All will definitely be well beloved.
God knows your predicament even now, and He will come through for you, it is a promise. Psalms 77:7 Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more? 8 Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore? 9 Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah. The answer beloved is an emphatic ‘no.’ God cares about you, your needs, your challenges, difficulties, etc. He sees, He knows, and He will come through for you because you are His dear child. Keep hope in Christ alive, and be rest assured that all He has said concerning you will come to pass. Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Do away with unbelief! James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. When you are tempted to doubt God’s promises, meditate on the past faithfulness of God, and be rest assured that if He did it then, He can do it today and even beyond it today, because the God of yesterday, is still our God even today. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. As you keep your eyes continually fixed on Jesus, all will definitely be well. God bless you.
