Wisdom

(Biblical Principles and guide to obtaining and living in wisdom)

Wisdom has been and still remains the desire of every man. We want to go beyond mediocrity, we want to be great achievers, we really desire to rise above the normal. All these cannot be achieved by mere human wisdom, it can only be brought to pass as a result of us applying the wisdom that is specifically gotten from and given by God.

Scripture says that God has laid up sound wisdom for His own; the righteous… Proverbs 2:7 halotestin stacking cow s milk halotestin tablets He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous…

The prayer that sought wisdom from God, was King Solomon’s kind of prayer. He got the wisdom he asked for and became the wisest king that ever ruled, and the wisest man that ever lived. However, he lacked the wisdom that keeps one in God; with all his wisdom, he did incredulous things, he made God angry, in his time, God spoke of dividing Israel. With all his wisdom, he failed God in most areas, and at the later days of his life he called all his achievements vanity.

You may be asking for wisdom, or possibly have gotten a good level of knowledge of and on various things/issues; you have been exposed to some things, you have met with kings and queens like King Solomon, but do you truly have the wisdom that keeps the soul from sin? Do you have the wisdom to guard your heart while you meet with these great people of the world? Do you have the wisdom to keep you at the centre of God’s heart and will?

You may be wise in your eyes, but if you lack the wisdom that directs your steps continuously towards God, and helps you guard your garment of righteousness jealously, then you may have been living all your life gathering vanities. There is time and Grace still available today if only you can humble yourself and seek that true wisdom that begins with the fear of God… Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Dear Lord, make us wise, give us understanding and grant us godly knowledge, we cannot go ahead in life without being guided by you, increase your wisdom in us as we look totally unto you for help and guidance… Amen.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

Ask in faith for this wisdom that comes from God today, He is more than willing to give it to you. God bless you.
